We are not responsible for any damage or injury caused or sustained from the use of our tools.
Knives and sharp-edged tools are not toys. You must always keep our tools (and all other sharp implements) stored properly and out of the reach of children. Always wear apporpriate safety gear and supervise any use by children. These are not inteded for nor are they safe for use by children under the age of six.
Always maintain your tools properly: clean with cool water and mild soap, and dry them after use. Oil them if they won’t be used again for longer than a week, and sharpen edges as needed: a sharp blade is safer than a dull one.
Should you find any defect in one of our tools, stop use immediately and contact us for a replacement. A broken, cracked, or chipped blade or handle is a dangerous situation and can cause serious injury.
That said, these tools are intended for use in and around your home. They aren’t designed to win “Forged in Fire” and won’t survive substantial abuse: never strike the tools with a hard implement like a hammer or a mallet and do not chop into hard objects such as bone, ice, stone, or other similar materials.
